EPN fans are fully composite, single inlet centrifugal fans with backward curved blades, the motor is placed outside the air stream. They are particularly suitable for use in corrosive and aggressive environments and, partly due to their UV resistance, suitable for outdoor installation.

The fan is constructed in such a way that no metal parts come into contact with the medium, which completely rules out the effects of corrosion. The steel fan frame is galvanised. The fan is connected to a duct system by flexible connections; the connection diameters are based on commercially-available plastic pipes. The blow-out function can be adjusted to the duct system in steps of 45 degrees without loss of capacity. It goes without saying that both left- and right-handed versions are available. As an extra safety measure, fans EPN 125 to 280 are fitted with so-called “splitter protection” as standard. The use of splitter protection has now been made mandatory in various industries.
