Air Products | Botlek (NL)

A polluted, corrosive environment like the Botlek area near Rotterdam (NL) is no problem for the Liberty composite air handling units.

Industry

The air quality in the Botlek has improved considerably in recent years. However, there are still harmful substances in the air. The ambient air there is a cocktail of sea air and chemicals. It is recognised as a fairly polluted (ODA3) and corrosive environment, but this does not pose a problem for our Liberty plastic air handling units.

A CX corrosion class (formerly C5i/C5m) can take a lot, and the ePM1 90% bag filter ensures a clean and healthy supply of air. The unit was installed by a highly-valued relation who has a great deal of affinity for process air. The double ventilation unit serves to refresh the room air of the control room. A cooling battery is connected to an external chiller and the heating is provided by an electric heating battery.

Although all Liberty units are factory-checked, commissioning on site always ensures smooth integration of the PRIVA Blue ID controller with the existing BMS.
