HEAT PUMPS

The outdoor units are mounted on the composite support frame of the air handling unit and are connected from a cooling point of view to the DX condenser block in the air handling unit in our factory. The entire installation can be lifted and placed as simply as a complete part.

Regulation

An interface kit enables communication between the heat pump and the air handling unit controller. For good controllability, the variable air flow rate of the air handling unit is carefully matched to the selection of the desired heat pump in close cooperation with Mitsubishi. We control the inlet temperature with a variable setpoint based on the room or return temperature.

Guaranteed inlet temperatures

Up to six outdoor units can be smartly controlled. Our controller issues a signal before a defrost cycle starts so another outdoor unit can be started. The defrost cycle can therefore be anticipated and a more regular temperature can be provided based on this pre-defrost signal. A rotation cascade controller also ensures all the outdoor units achieve the same operating time. We select the heating capacities of our heat pumps for an outside temperature of -10°C, which means the capacities are always sufficient. Guaranteed inlet temperatures are possible by using at least three compressors.

Heat pumps for swimming pools

Cooling the exhaust air from swimming pools with a separate heat pump that is easily accessible for service means we can produce extra hot water for your swimming pool complex. This heat can be used to heat your pool water for example. In terms of temperature levels, this gives a good COP for your heat pump. The heat pump is Eurovent certified and equipped with several hermetic scroll compressors, hydraulic modules, crankcase heating, overheating protection and vibration dampers. We also ensure proper control of the heat pump in combination with your Liberty air handling unit for swimming pools.
